Baton Rouge General provides behavioral health treatment and support services to adult and geriatric patients. Our inpatient programs include Geri/Psych and the Med/Psych Units.

Some patients need highly structured, protected environments due to behavioral psychiatric conditions; others are able to achieve successful outcomes in a more open environment. Because our behavioral health units are designed to accommodate these differences, we can treat each patient in the most appropriate setting.
